Why Join Eastes?
Formal Meetings
We meet 4 times a year on the following days:
4th Thursday in February,
4th Wednesday in May,
4th Friday in October,
2nd Tuesday in December.
Meetings start at 4pm and are held at the Shirley Woolmer Masonic Centre, Sidcup. These meetings are formal and regalia is worn.
Weekly Learning
Every Tuesday night (except for a summer break) from 6.30pm we hold a Lodge Of Instruction (LOI) at The Westwood Masonic Centre, Welling.
These are informal meetings used to help brethren learn the ritual used and socialise in a relaxed atmosphere. LOI is a great place to ask questions, gain confidence and of course meet new like minded people.
Mentoring
Upon joining the lodge you will be assigned a personal mentor. They are there to help and support you throughout your masonic journey. As well as a personal mentor the lodge has its own mentor, they help and direct the lodge as a whole.
Social Life
Here at Eastes Lodge we hold many social events ranging from golf days to barn dances to name a but a few. We also have a yearly Ladies festival. This is organised by the outgoing master of the year and can span an evening or up to 2 nights away. The pinnacle of the festival is a black tie gala dinner dance. This is an opportunity to celebrate the years work with friends, family and of course, members of the lodge.
